Pan Roasted Salmon

1 lb salmon steak or fillets
Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 tbsp Garcia De La Cruz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp hot honey
1/2 cup #whitewine
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Chopped parsley, garnish


Season salmon on both sides with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat Garcia de la Cruz Extra Virgin Olive Oil & butter. Add salmon & sear until bottom is golden, 5 minutes, then flip. Add garlic, lemon juice, hot honey, & red pepper flakes. Add wine, reduce. Add those lemon wedges to the pan and brown them a bit to use as fancy-looking garnish. Cook another 5 minutes, spooning sauce over salmon as it cooks. Drizzle EVOO to finish. Garnish with parsley.
